The QuikClot® Bleeding Control Dressing fills the need for an OTC hemostatic dressing for home emergencies as well as professional first responders and medical personnel. The bleeding Control Dressing combines surgical gauze with Kaolin, a proprietary inorganic material that accelerates the body’s natural clotting process and stops venous and arterial bleeding within minutes of application.

QuikClot devices do not contain any animal, human, plant or shellfish materials so there is no worry of initiating an allergic response. Kaolin produces no exothermic reaction so there is no burn! The soft, pliable nature of gauze conforms readily to the wound site, won’t break down, and can be easily removed once clotting has occurred. The rugged, easy-tear pouch provides durability and quick access when needed.

This rolled dressing is sized for small-medium injuries.
